Don’t lie! A standard for Robots and Humans.
Thanks Rafe Needleman for writing this. Really gets my human brain gears going.

This is oddly complex in that humans generally know they should not lie but we all do, at least a little and except for me ;)

In a way, we are asking machines to be better than humans by not lying.

But whether the communication is a bot, human, or a mix, honesty is helpful. It’s not just that lying is bad because it’s bad. People don’t want to be tricked or lied to, so if you are working to serve people being honest is key.

If what we make depends on lies, human or machine, it won’t last.
